Replacing metal with engineering plastic

Delta Plasturgy works on various engineering plastics which can be substituted with steel or aluminium. Weight savings are significant and can reach over 60%.


Injection technology helps reach completely acceptable tolerance levels in relation to products from foundries. It also allows significant cost reductions through direct injection of complex parts with or without inserts. Specifically this involves finishing costs linked to machining, possible painting of metal parts and thermal treatments.

Know-how for different types of plastic parts

Delta Plasturgy has developed experience and know-how in material transformation for fields of application requiring highly specific properties: resistance to high temperatures, electrical insulation characteristics or mechanical resistance


We create parts based on our clients’ specifications and plans. The diversity of our clients and their requirements has largely contributed to developing know-how to implement materials around a large number of products and applications:

  • Overmolded connector parts as bases, boards, connectors and terminals in DAP, Phenolic compound, Bakelite, PPS, Fortron, Ryton, Ultem, PEI
  • Control button for a cockpit, devices, machine interface in polycarbonate, PC or polyamide, PA
  • Coil housing in PPS, Ryton, Fortron, PEEK, LCP, DAP, AMC for electromagnet or transformer
  • Front or façade for military telecommunications device - defense or control in Ultem, ABS or Polyamide
  • Front panels - breastplate
  • Protective covers, dust seals for IP X code standard through overmolding with TPE, TPV, Santoprene, EPDM and SEBS

    Specialised in overmoulding of light buttons, light guides and overmoulded control buttons on metal inserts in nickel-plated brass for controlling civil and military aircraft instruments.

    Coil housing

    Specialised in injection or compression moulding of coil housing with a high level of dimensional accuracy for electromagnetic circuit coils or electronic circuits in PPS, PSU or PEEK, like Ryton, Fortron, Kinel and Victrex PEEK.

  • Front or façade for military telecommunications device - defense or control in Ultem, ABS or Polyamide

    Front panels - breastplate

    Injection moulding of thermoplastics and finishing of various front panels of telecommunication posts, measurement devices or aviation and industrial equipment; finishing through metallising or internal and/or external painting for various electronic equipment.
